The processing of personal data is always carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The legal bases for processing are in particular:
Hosting and Server Log Files
Cloudflare · Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you access our website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files that your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of the request
- Requested URL and referrer URL
- HTTP status code
- Volume of data transferred
- Browser type and version (user agent)
- Operating system
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the reliable operation of our website and improving our services.
A Data Processing Addendum pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Cloudflare. Server log files are automatically deleted after no more than 72 hours.
SSL/TLS Encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security purposes and to protect the transmission of personal data. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock icon in your browser's address bar and the address changing from "http://" to "https://".
No Analytics or Tracking Services
We do not use any analytics or tracking services (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, Facebook Pixel, or similar services). Your usage behavior is not evaluated.
Contact via Email or Phone
Art. 6(1)(b) / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
When you contact us by email or phone, the data you provide (e.g., name, email address, phone number, content of your inquiry) will be stored and processed by us to handle your request.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us).
The data will be deleted once the purpose of storage no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
